Winter Camp
For the fourth time, Digital Legends have chosen to use the camp-style event model, and this time it acquires a frosty Christmas theme. As per usual, the event is split into four sections, "Back to Basics", "Practise Teamwork", "Alone Against Danger" and of course the "Final Challenge". Each of the sections has a distinct theme to it, asking players to play a certain way or in a certain game mode to pass tiers. On the third trial of the event, the new Christmas bundles and 2015 event collections will become available for purchase.
Unfortunately, due to technical limitations (which should be resolved by the release of the next update), Respawnables Database won't be able to supply details of the event's tiers, requirements and prizes. Should viewers be in need of this information, they should visit the Respawnables Wiki until the information can be uploaded. Tips and tricks will still be available as always. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Tips & Tricks
The first sequence of tiers in the event uses an extremely interesting concept. This part of the event literally takes players back to their newbie days, forcing them to use the original Rookie Machine Gun to pass tiers in the event. While this may sound like a disadvantage, it's an even playing field as all participants are forced to use this weak weapon. This week is left almost entirely down to players' skill and experience with the game, as there is no variety in weapons available. However, there are a number of ways to give yourself an edge in this challenge, the most significant being armour and gadgets. As this trial is very competitive and may prove frustrating, you'll need to bring your a-game. In terms of armour, a mix of agility and health should prove effective. Machine guns like the weapon allowed in this trial really feel the effect of the extra health, so packing lots of health armour will be extremely helpful. Agility may also help is travelling around the map and counteracting the Rookie Mahcine Gun's mediocre agility. In terms of gadgets, expensive Gold gadgets such as Stealth or Immunity Shields are useful but may not be worth spending. In terms of cost effectiveness, Spotters and Medikits are great options as they can be easily replenished with Cash and can be very useful in locating targets or regenerating health. High health armour combined with regeneration will make it difficult for enemy Rookie Machine Fun users to take you down, but may make you slow.
The second trial, "Practise Teamwork", takes place entirely in Team Vs. as its name suggests. While the game mode may appear to encourage team work at first glance, due to its scoring mechanics, it has little to do with working with other players. Instead, collecting enemy medals is decisive of which team comes out victorious. This is stressed even more in this event, where collecting medals is both directly and indirectly what must be done to win. Half the tiers require players to win Team Vs matches (by collecting medals) and another half by simply earning medals, so medals play a huge role in winning this trial. Therefore, in order to pass it the fastest, you should make medals your top priority, which means ensuring you collect them after beating a player and scooping them up after your teammates should they leave one behind. Note that enemy medals do not add to your score, but it is still worth fighting for them as collecting them stops the enemy team from using them to increase their score. Due to the competitive nature of this trial, you'll need to be bringing your best weapons and armour into the battlefield. Gadgets may also be of use; a personal favourite of mine is Spotter which give you the priceless ability to locate enemy players. It allows you to pre-fire around corners, plan for when players emerge and seek out your enemies so that you're not wasting time looking for them. Another tip for this trial is to try to avoid ranged weapons, even though they tend to be the most effective, and especially avoid camping. Close range weapons force you to fight enemies in close proximity, which means the medal is right beside you when you take them down. With ranged weapons, you may have to run after your earned medals, and in that time you may be defeated. Camping is even worse, as you will stay planted in one position and won't be chasing medals, allowing the enemy team to take them, effectively nullifying your contribution to the team's score. You might also want to think twice about sitting still in one spot with that new one-shot kill sniper in the game now!
