Darkness Combo Guns
It really is a shame that Digital Legends change money for the Monster Mash bundles, because the Darkness Combo Guns are actually pretty good. However, they're only good if you use the bundle they are paired with alongside them, specifically the Braid, as they give ridiculous boosts to agility and damage when paired with these weapons. It does kinda suck that this limits options for what items to wear, but the boost the weapons get is phenomenal.
The weapons are exactly the same as the other two Monster Mash bundle weapons, which means they kill very quickly with the Shadow Hunter Braid. The Darkness Combo Guns only appear to be better as they are purchased with the better bundle - if the Toxic Guns and Haunted Guns are equipped with the Braid, they're just as powerful. The weapons can kill in a few very quick shots, which ranks them among the best automatic weapons in the game; however, their range and accuracy are both bad. Don't bring them into long range maps like Royal Garden, because they won't do as well as their competition. Their accuracy is a major shortcoming and is the biggest issue with the weapon. Try using a bit of accuracy gear to remedy the weapon's unreliability. |

Besides these issues, these weapons is very good - if it weren't for their bad range and accuracy they would be extremely overpowered. With the Shadow Hunter Braid equipped, these weapons are a devastating force in smaller maps like Sandtown and Headquarters. They kill very quickly, have high agility and have a really cool glowing design as an added bonus. Good strategies with the weapons include using agility to get around quickly and beat as many players as possible, and wrapping around the backs of players as they move to protect yourself from their attacks.
The weapons can be countered quite easily by staying away from them and using their bad range to beat them. They also have problems with accuracy, so circle strafing is a good way to cause them to miss. Do not run directly at a player with these weapons unless you're far away from them, as they will beat you very quickly.

TL; DR
They're good weapons, but spending ten dollars on them is a pretty big ask. If you're willing to spend money, the Shadow Hunter Pack is definitely one of your best options.
