Halloween Haunt
For the third year in a row, Halloween has come back to Respawnables, this year Summer Camp style. Similar to the two Summer Camp events that've been introduced, the Halloween Haunt event is split into four weeks, "Rookie's Fright", "Explosive Horror", "Monster's Spook" and "Final Scare". Each will have different prizes, and could almost be considered short, standalone events themselves. So far, each week has had 9 tiers and have had a certain theme to them. "Rookie's Fright" was an especially easy event, possibly referring to the name which implies the event is aimed at rookies. "Explosive Horror" was comprised entirely of missions requiring players to kill enemies with Halloween grenades, once again creating an alignment with the name. The third week week had a special set of rules - one kill would earn players 5 points toward their tier prize, and tiers would be unlocked once a certain amount of points is gained. "Final Scare", the final week of the event, had one extra tier and lasted for three days more than the other.
Among the prizes for the event are parts from the Monster and Warlock bundles, new skins for the Scoped Assault Rifle and the Double Barrel Shotgun, lots of Halloween grenades and the illusive Stig Rifle, which will be obtainable only in the final week.

Tips & Tricks
The first week of the event is very easy, and thus there is little more to say than simply: use your best weapons and do your best. If you'd like to pass the event faster, gadgets such as Spotter and Medikit are very effective and don't put too much of a strain one your Cash. Immunity Shields and Stealth are good too, but only if you have Gold to spend.
Week 2 is not an overly difficult week, especially not if you already own the Warlock bundle items. This one is very similar to the Hand Grenade Fest events in that all the tiers require you to kill enemies with grenades. You can choose from either Halloween Grenades or Explosive Candy to earn points in this week. Halloween Grenades are by far the best option, as they are much more cost effective, easier to aim (don't bounce around the place like Explosive Candy) and have a better cooldown time. They deal less damage, but this matters very little if you use a very popular technique for explosive-related events, which is using Stake Launcher weapons. Since the Stake Launcher was made available to everyone in the previous week, you have little reason not to use it to make this week faster and less frustrating. The reason the Stake Launcher (or Dual Stake Launchers) is best is they effectively freeze an opponent when they're shot. This means you can throw a grenade at the player after shooting them, and they won't be able to escape, earning you an easy kill. The shots should also weaken the player to the point where a single Halloween Grenades will land the KO, unless they wear substantial anti-explosive armour. Another tip for this week is to equip the Cyber Ninja Greaves (leg part), if you happen to own them. This item applies a 25% reduction to gadget cooldown time, which means you can throw grenades at a much faster pace, ideal for the event. You should also try wearing anti-explosive armour if you have any, as this will make you more durable in the mass of grenades that players will be throwing. Overall, you'll need to accumulate 130 kills with either Halloween Grenades or Explosive Candy, which isn't difficult at all with some dedication and time. Enjoy your new Double Barrel Shotgun skin!
Week 3 of the event has a simple premise, but is made a little bit more complex by its scoring mechanics. Under normal circumstances, killing one enemy will earn you 5 points toward your tier prize. Using any weapon and any armour will earn you these five points. Since the event eventually requires that you earn points well into the thousands, you'll have to rack up lots and lots of kills in order to pass the event, so once again, bringing your game face into your matches and using your best gear is the best way to rack up kills. However, there is one major detail to the event that is under-advertised, but will make it significantly easier to beat. By wearing the Monster Head or Warlock Eyes head parts, your point intake will double, essentially making each kill worth 10 points and halving the total amount of kills required to 910 (from 1,820 with normal parts). However, by wearing the Shadow Hunter Braid or the Headless Baron items, you can take it one step further and quadruple your kill intake, making each kill worth 20 points and making the event require an easy total of 455 kills. Keep in mind that these items are premium only. This event is very doable without them, especially considering that the Monster Head and Warlock Eyes were already made available in the previous two weeks.
Week 4 for the event has a few tricky tiers in it, but these are merely time-wasters and likely won't be too difficult to complete. The event begins with one of the easier tiers, which simply requires that you pick up 50 medals. These are cumulative, and can be earned in multiple Free For All matches. This should be simple to do with time. A weapon with high agility will be helpful in this tier. Tier 2 is similarly easy, and simply requires 40 kills in Free For All mode. Bring your best weapon into the match and use the Spotter gadget to pass this one quickly. Tier 3 is also easy if you have the right weapons. Flare Gun, Aristocrat's Shotgun, Hunter Rifle, Thumper, and shotgun weapons are among the options you have for this tier. Of those, Flare Gun and Aristocrat's Shotgun will have you complete the event fastest. Tier 4 is one of the trickier tiers. Any sniper weapon should eventually carry you through this tier, as they allow you to precisely aim at the head. However, I had more success with the Minigun in this particular tier. Weapons with a high rate of fire tend to score headshots quite often, and Minigun is the best weapon in that category. As snipers tend to be quite lacklustre in amongst all the overpowred new weapons, Minigun might be the best weapon for this tier. Try to aim your fire upward slightly for a better chance of a headshot.
Tier 5 might be a little time consuming. If you get in the top three in every match, it'll take you about an hour to do. Generally tiers like this are quire easy as matches don't always fill up completely, making it easier to get a good position, but this might not occur in the event's early stages. If you're having trouble, be sure to pick up the medals dropped when you kill enemies. This will help boost your score. Medals dropped from after you die are also worth 100 points, which boosts your score a lot. For me, tier 6 was the most difficult in this event, though I completed it with time. I used the same strategy with the Minigun I used in tier 4 and completed it after a few matches, however I'd imagine that other players who don't own the Minigun may have more trouble with this tier. In that case, machine gun weapons and snipers are your best bet for passing this tier. Use the Spotter gadget to prepare your crosshairs or weapon for when a players turns the corner. Also remember to aim slightly higher, toward the head, for a better chance at a headshot. Tier 7 is where the event slows down a bit. This this tier should be a breeze for anyone who made it to this point, and so should tier 8 and 9, which encompass similar challenges to tier 3. If you were able to pass tier 3, you should be able to pass these two tiers as well, with relative ease. For me, Flare Gun was my weapon of choice, however Aristocrat's Shotgun is likely a better option, particularly if you own the S.F. Headset which makes the weapon overpowered.
Tier 10 has one of my personal least favourite challenges of all time: winning Team Vs. matches. It's not a hard tier, but it pisses me off because of how flawed Team Vs. scoring mechanics are. The best way to pass this tier faster is to run after those bonus medals, which will increase your team's score and give you a better chance of winning. Even though they don't count toward your score, collecting your own team's medals means the opposing team won't collect them instead. If you pass this tier, congratulations and enjoy your new machine gun!
