Revolver
Enter Revolver, the single most versatile weapon in the game. The Revolver is a weapon with all-around good stats, unlike most weapons in the game that have a weakness of some sort. This allows the weapon to be used in almost any situation; its range allows it to be used in almost any situation, and its highly consistent damage output makes it a decent option at closer ranges as well. The Revolver will remove players in three very quick shots (two if the right conditions are given), and because of the weapon's great accuracy and range, it's very hard to react to before it beats you. The weapon has a modest clip size of 6, but its reloading time is fast, so if you get used to the rhythm of reloading after kills, the playstyle is quite easy to get used to.
Of course, no weapon is perfect, but the Revolver is close to it. The weapon has some issues at very long ranges, where its damage is tiny or non-existent, and leaves it susceptible to weapons that reach far, such as Thumper and sniper weapons. The weapon is also a little slow to kill at closer ranges, but with skill and a bit of luck, it can beat shotgun players as well. This means that the Revolver's most optimal playstyle is at ranges where shotguns cannot reach it, but its damage output remains high. Maps such as Snow Village, Sandtown and Eastside District are some of the best options for this weapon, as its capabilities perfectly suit those maps. |

While the Revolver is good in the hands of an inexperienced player, it's fantastic if you know how to play with it. Tips like these can help you properly utilise the weapon's strengths:
- Move left and right to make the player miss. This is especially important at closer ranges, and even more important when facing other players using the weapon.
- Use corners and walls to protect yourself. Pop out from behind the wall to land a shot, and return to the wall to protect yourself, and repeat until the player is gone. Numerous weapons in the game cannot counter this strategy, including snipers, automatic weapons and more, simply because there isn't enough time for them to hit the player before they hide again.
- Target players from behind. Unless you miss, the player most likely won't have enough time to react before the Revolver KOs.
TL; DR
This weapon is very hard to fault, because there really isn't anything it does exceptionally bad. It's the most versatile weapon in the game, and a weapon you should try if you haven't already.
